OUR CHILDREN ARE CALLED TO WAR

This morning as I was dropping my child off at school, as soon as we pulled onto the school grounds, she began to get upset that her belly ached.

She carries a very intense gift of discernment, but that didn’t cross my mind until tears began to fall down her face. As I asked her why she was upset, she said, “I don’t know.”

Last week when we got home from a ministry trip she said, “Mom, I just need a day off. Can I just stay home with you?” Of course I said, “No baby, you’ve got to go to school.”

A day goes by and the nurse calls saying she has a fever so I go and pick her up. On my way to get her, the Holy Spirit said, “I’m giving her rest.” When she walked through the door I told her what He said—and how He had heard her prayer to have a day off, home with mom.

We spent the next few days together working on the boutique business.

I later found out two of her friends in class were declaring to be “Furies.”

Yeah, that’s what I thought. What in the world is that?

This is an identity the enemy is convincing these 10-year-olds that they are—half fox and half cat. They actually buy tails, paws, ears, and crawl on all fours howling and literally acting as animals.

My HEART BROKE. These are the girls my daughter hangs out with every day.

OLD ME would have said, “Stay away from them.”

But the Holy Spirit whispered, “Don’t remove My light from the darkness.”

That changed everything. I began to teach my daughter about her true identity in Christ, how precious the human race is to the Father, and that we are made in HIS IMAGE. Then I prepared her for war—to go and speak LIFE over those girls and remind them who they really are.

She’s come home telling me they don’t listen. But I keep telling her:

“Keep speaking life. You’re planting seeds. God will water them later. You are part of their future deliverance.”

A 10-year-old PIERCING THE DARKNESS.

These girls call my phone to talk to her—and every time they do, I pray that the Spirit of God that fills my house pierces through the phone line and floods theirs.

Fear tells us to pull back.

Cut them off.

Run.

But God is saying, “CHARGE THE DARKNESS.” Go after it.

Jude says that some you help with compassion, and some you have to snatch out of the fire. In this case, it’s kids—and the Lord is ALWAYS gentle with children.

Parents—our kids are fighting battles we never had to face.

But God hand-picked them for THIS time.

This morning I laid hands on my daughter and asked for the Spirit of Might to go before her. I commanded her discernment to submit to the Spirit of God and rebuked the enemy for trying to overwhelm her.

She smiled. The fear lifted.

She walked into that school ARMED AND READY.

Parents—we’ve got to stay at the feet of Jesus so we can lead, prepare, and equip our kids for war.

They’re watching us.

They’re learning from how we fight.

And they have some of the greatest discernment we’ll ever witness.

Let’s not parent from fear. Let’s raise up warriors.

Our kids are called to war—let’s equip them, teach them, and SEND THEM.

Trusting that the Spirit of God is with them, even when we can’t be.
