“BRING HIM THE SNAKES”

“And these signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will cast out demons… they will pick up serpents with their hands…” — Mark 16:17–18

“No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man.” — Mark 3:27

“The fervent prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” — James 5:16

Today is the National Day of Prayer, but the Lord is not looking for one day of emotion. He is calling forth a lifestyle of war, intercession, holiness, and unwavering fire.

The Church has treated prayer like an annual event when Heaven intended it to be our daily breath.

America does not simply need another gathering.

America needs believers who know how to take territory.

In Mark 5, Jesus stepped into a region ruled by darkness. A man possessed by a legion of demons lived among the tombs, bound by chains, tormented, isolated, and uncontrollable. Yet when Jesus arrived, the demons recognized authority.

Jesus did not negotiate with darkness.

He confronted it.

And after the demons were cast out, the entire region was affected.

One deliverance shifted a territory.

This is where the Church must rise again.

The Lord is asking His people to stop tolerating serpents in their homes, prayer closets, churches, regions, and nation. He is looking for believers who will crush the head of the serpent through the authority of Christ and bring Him the evidence of conquered darkness.

I had a vision of walking into the courts of Heaven carrying a bundle of dead black snakes in my right hand, lifted high before the Father like trophies from battle. These snakes represented conquered evil—things that once hissed, intimidated, manipulated, poisoned, oppressed, divided, deceived, or tormented.

The Lord is calling His people to bring Him snakes.

Not literal snakes, but evidence of warfare won through obedience, prayer, holiness, deliverance, repentance, endurance, and surrender.

Bring Him the serpent of addiction that was conquered.

Bring Him the serpent of division removed from your home.

Bring Him the serpent of Jezebel cast out of your church.

Bring Him the serpent of fear defeated in your mind.

Bring Him the serpent of compromise uprooted from your region.

Today is not a call to observe prayer.

It is a call to become people of prayer.

“Put on the whole armor of God…” — Ephesians 6:11

Many people say, “Put your armor on every day.”

But I want to ask:

Why did you take it off?

We are in an hour where believers must remain clothed in readiness. We cannot afford to casually lay down discernment, prayer, holiness, or spiritual alertness.

The soldiers of God must sleep in their armor.

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion…” — 1 Peter 5:8

“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season…” — 2 Timothy 4:2

The fire on the altar was never supposed to go out.

“The fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.” — Leviticus 6:13

Today let the fire of prayer be reignited in America—not for a moment, but for a movement.

PRAYER GUIDE FOR AMERICA

1. PRAY FOR REPENTANCE IN THE CHURCH

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways…” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Prayer:

“Father, we repent for prayerlessness, compromise, lukewarmness, pride, and mixture in the Church. Purify Your Bride. Remove the fear of man and restore the fear of the Lord. Raise up holy believers who walk in truth, power, humility, and purity.”

Declare:

* The Church will awaken.

* The fire of holiness will return.

* America will see a praying Church again.

2. PRAY AGAINST LEGION IN THE NATION

“My name is Legion, for we are many.” — Mark 5:9

Just as Jesus confronted a region oppressed by many demons, we confront the powers operating in America today: division, confusion, violence, addiction, sexual immorality, witchcraft, greed, corruption, death, deception, and rebellion against God.

Prayer:

“In the name of Jesus Christ, we confront every demonic assignment operating over our homes, cities, schools, government, churches, and nation. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over America. Every unclean spirit must bow to the authority of Christ.”

Declare:

* Darkness will not rule this nation.

* Jesus is Lord over America.

* Strongholds are breaking.

* Captives are being set free.

3. PRAY TO TAKE BACK TERRITORY

“Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you…” — Joshua 1:3

Prayer:

“Lord, reclaim territory that has been surrendered to darkness. Let righteousness arise in our homes, schools, businesses, churches, media, and government. Establish Your Kingdom in our communities.”

Declare:

* Our homes belong to Jesus.

* Our children belong to Jesus.

* Our cities belong to Jesus.

* America belongs to Jesus.

4. CRUSH THE SERPENT

“He will crush your head…” — Genesis 3:15

“I have given you authority… over all the power of the enemy…” — Luke 10:19

Ask the Holy Spirit:

“What serpent have I tolerated?”

Is it:

* offense?

* addiction?

* lust?

* fear?

* gossip?

* rebellion?

* compromise?

* witchcraft?

* division?

* passivity?

* unbelief?

Prayer:

“Lord, expose every serpent hiding in my life. Give me boldness to confront what You are confronting. I will not pet what You told me to kill.”

Declare:

* The serpent is crushed.

* Fear is broken.

* Compromise is leaving.

* My house will serve the Lord.

5. PRAY FOR ENDURANCE IN WARFARE

“Having done all, to stand firm.” — Ephesians 6:13

Prayer:

“Father, strengthen Your people to endure. Teach us to remain watchful in prayer. Let us not grow weary in doing good. Ignite intercessors across this nation who will stand in the gap day and night.”

Declare:

* I will not quit.

* I will not retreat.

* I will keep the fire burning.

* I will remain clothed in the armor of God.

Today, bring Him the snakes.

Bring Him the evidence that darkness lost ground in your life.

Kill the serpent in your prayer closet.

Kill the compromise.

Kill the silence.

Kill the fear of confrontation.

Kill the lukewarmness.

Kill the passivity.

And place it before the Lord as an offering of obedience.

America does not need spectators.

America needs watchmen.

“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before Me in the gap on behalf of the land…” — Ezekiel 22:30

May today not simply be remembered as a National Day of Prayer.

May it become the day the fire returned to the altar.
