Feeding the Hungry, Filling the Spirit | Kenya Missions Update

ree

During our time in Kenya, we had the honor of visiting two powerful feeding centers that serve over 200 children across their communities.

These aren’t just meal stations—they are centers of worship, Scripture, and spiritual nourishment. Each week, the children learn a new Bible verse, memorize it, and return the next week to recite it from memory. After a Bible story is shared, they receive what is often their only meal of the day—a meal made possible through faith, community gardens, and the love of Jesus.

We were also able to launch a third feeding center at a newly planted church, expanding the impact to an entirely new community of children in need.

I shared the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 and how the five loaves and two fish = 7, the number of completion. I encouraged them that when we give Jesus even the little we have, He completes it, multiplies it, and fills us—both physically and spiritually.

We handed out bracelets that read “Yesu loves Mimi” (Jesus loves me in Swahili), and it was a joy to see their faces light up with the truth of God’s love.

They left full—hearts full of the Word, bellies full of food, and spirits full of JOY. Thank you, Jesus, for the privilege of being Your hands and feet.

We INVITE you to partner with us as we continue answering the call to the nations. Your donation helps us carry the love of Jesus to the ends of the earth.
