Did Thanksgiving Leave You with a Wound Instead of a Memory?

Who Got Wounded by Family This Thanksgiving?
And who is still replaying the moment over and over in your mind?
Who felt the sting of words from people who claim to love you?
Who walked away feeling shame, pain, confusion, or unworthiness…instead of the love you hoped for?
Let’s tell the truth:
Family wounds cut the deepest because they’re tied to the heart.
And the enemy LOVES to use those closest to you to do the most damage.
Why the Enemy Targets Your Family Gatherings
Because he knows family has lifelong access to your heart.
You may distance yourself from friends, coworkers, or acquaintances…but family ties remain, and if the wound isn’t healed, it reopens every holiday, every birthday, every memory.
“A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city.” — Proverbs 18:19
“For we are not ignorant of Satan’s schemes.” — 2 Corinthians 2:11
The enemy KNOWS offense fractures hearts and divides families.
Bitterness Is a Poison — and It Spreads
You may feel the sting today, but if you leave it unattended, it becomes something far more deadly.
“Watch out that no root of bitterness springs up to trouble you, corrupting many.” — Hebrews 12:15
Bitterness spreads like cancer.
It doesn’t stay in one part of the heart—it infects everything if not pulled out quickly.
“Get rid of all bitterness… unforgiveness… and malice.” — Ephesians 4:31–32
God says get rid of it quickly, because He knows the longer it sits, the deeper it roots.
Unforgiveness Will Not Enter the Kingdom
This isn’t a small issue.
This is a salvation issue.
“If you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” — Matthew 6:15
“Forgive one another… even as Christ forgave you.” — Colossians 3:13
Unforgiveness blocks intimacy with God.
It steals your peace.
It poisons destiny.
And it keeps you chained to the wound.
But you don’t have to stay there.
I Want to Help You Remove the Poison
There is an anointing that breaks the yoke of pain, shame, and emotional bondage.
“The yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing.” — Isaiah 10:27
If your heart feels heavy—
If your mind keeps replaying the moment—
If you feel the sting of shame—
If you walked away feeling invisible, misunderstood, or disrespected—
I’m here to pray with you, walk with you, and help you uproot the poison so bitterness does NOT take root.
You Don’t Have to Walk Through This Alone

There is healing.
There is freedom.
And God wants your heart whole.
